First of all, we would like to wish you a Happy 2019. Hope that all of you have a good break and is charged to commerce with usual daily routine. 2018 was ushered with a great spirits while we kick-off the year with new identity. Founded in Kuala Lumpur by two great friends, this year we are focusing on adding more extensive destinations to our network and simultaneously expecting a new exciting ride and developments ahead.
Over the past 3 years, Droupr has connected a local community of people who use our technology for transportation. People around the Malaysia took Droupr to get where they needed to go. One of our unbelievable event was during an unprecedented history as Malaysia’s 14th General Election approached in May and the rakyat come together to help each other under #PulangMengundi to find a carpool to go back to vote. Droupr, the trusted carpool platform took part in helping people get connected through our app. The result of it saw 82.32% voters turnout and for first time in modern Malaysian history formed a new national government.
From business perspective, we are looking forward to achieving new milestones. Our early branding was functional, designed to educate people about carpooling. Being a constant look out to improving our service and together with the new product vision, we would like to unveil our the new logo and identity which will be implemented starting today.
The new logo and visual identity have been designed to reflect back the connections between people who carpooling to the same destination. Our colours reflected the our community, and our ambition to create more friendly vibe among strangers. The two ‘bubbletalk’ come together like two people in a car sharing their stories and framing a conversation – whether in the car or with loved ones at their destination.
